Seek and Serve Christ in All Persons
For over 60 years Church of the Transfiguration has offered believers and seekers a community in which to experience God in north Dallas. The neighborhood has grown and changed over the years, and so has our church. Through it all, the people of Transfiguration have maintained faith in the truth and power of God’s love, as expressed in the person of Jesus of Nazareth. It is at our heart. It shapes us and defines us. We are all created by that love, recipients of that love, and called to share that love with the rest of the world.
Here you will meet some really incredible people: rich and poor; old and young; gay and straight. Some are lifelong Christians and some are just finding our spiritual footing. We are all sorts of things, which feels right, because that’s what the world is like. So there is room for you. There is a place for you, whoever you are, however you are, wherever you are. We aren’t perfect, so you shouldn’t feel the need to be, either. But if you’re hungry to know God and the sacrificial, life-changing, loving way of his Son, Jesus, we would love to share the journey with you.
